The PF's chicks are starting to lose their white down feathers and are growing fast. I hope to get some decent shots of them soon but the problem is the adults don't like me being there and I have no intention of disturbing these birds just for a photograph. The Kestrel chicks are flourishing as you can see from this picture below. The parents are bringing voles to the nest very regularly which is great to observe.
This Blog is an attempt to record their highs and lows and to make more people aware of this fascinating bird! The Peregrine Falcon is 'the fastest animal on the planet' - fact!

Great news! We have 2 chicks!
Having left them alone for a few weeks I was delighted to see the chicks this morning when I visited! I would say they are about 1 week old and still very much in their white down feathers. I will now be keeping a very close eye on them so watch this space.
