I spent 3 hours at the site this morning and failed to see any bird on the nest! There was a report of 1 bird perched on the rear of the chimney and I saw 1 bird hunting in the area. There seems to have been some disturbance taken place from looking at the foliage on the right hand side of the ledge. You can see what I mean from the images below.
It is also quite strange that the whole area adjacent to and in front of Frankie and Benny's has been thoroughly cleaned!!!! The enclosed space adjoining F & B behind the steel fence along the canal side was covered in rubbish and of course debris from the birds meals etc but it's now all gone!!!
Unfortunately I fear the worst but I will go back this afternoon to make sure! You never know things may still be OK but .........!
