Having now fledged these two Peregrine chicks are extremely demanding and vocal!

Already at home on the wing
One youngster pesters Dad for food
There is clearly not enough space on this perch for two!
It gets a bit uncomfortable
Blooming kids!
Dad decides to clear off!
And leaves the youngster behind
The hungry chick then decides to take a look in the larder
And guess what - good old Mum and Dad have left some scram for him!

  1. All 5 were soaring over my house at the weekend. Flight training do you reckon?

  2. Very likely Nicholas! Do you live near? I've really enjoyed watching and photographing them over the last few months although I've been at the very limits of my equipment I must say! The adults are great parents I think but where do you think juvenile No 3 came from? I personally never saw it in the nest early on. Is it from an earlier brood? Or an adopted bird? I'm confused! I'd be interested to know your theory.
